Behavioral Health Resources, LLC has created this Privacy Policy in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy.  We are providing this statement explaining our on-line and off-line information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.  The Privacy Policy discloses our information-gathering and dissemination practices for this website:  www.bhr-llc.com.  Refer also to the Confidentiality statement posted on our website.

Collection of Information.  Behavioral Health Resources, LLC collects information from our users through our public website in the following ways:  information voluntarily submitted; and information gathered via electronic means.

  • Information Voluntarily Submitted.  Our site does not use a contact form for customers to request information, products, and services.  We only collect visitor’s contact information (e.g., e-mail address) when a visitor contacts us directly via e-mail.  The customer’s contact information is also used to get in touch with the visitor if additional information is required for Behavioral Health Resources, LLC to understand the user’s situation.  We do not  share or sell users’ information to anyone.
  • Information Gathered via Electronic Means.  As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes Internet protocol (IP) addresses, visiting domains, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.  (Individual users are not identified.)  We use this information to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. Website Links.  This site contains links to other sites.  Behavioral Health Resources, LLC has no control over such sites and resources and as such is not responsible or liable for any privacy practices, content, advertising, products, or other materials on or available from such sites or resources.  Behavioral Health Resources, LLC shall not be liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such site or resource.   In addition, Behavioral Health Resources, LLC is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites. This site is made available by a third party Internet Service Provider (ISP) which is the collector and storer of user information and our non- disclosure agreement.  The ISP, by nature of the services provided, has access to user information. However, as a matter of policy, the ISP does not screen or review user information on this site.  If a user visits any of the co-branded pages of this site and subsequently executes a financial transaction or submits additional information, the affiliate is collecting their information and sharing it in the aggregate with Behavioral Health Resources, LLC.  We recommend users read the privacy statements of all co-branded pages.

Security.  This website takes every precaution to protect our user information.  Should sensitive information ever be submitted to us via the website, it is protected both on-line and off-line.  We have established managerial procedures to safeguard our website and to protect against the loss, disclosure, misuse or unauthorized access of personal information both on-line and off-line.  Only those employees of Behavioral Health Resources, LLC and/or our business partners who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information.  While we take reasonable efforts to ensure the security of information, there is no guarantee that any data transmitted over the Internet is 100% secure.  This is the case for any users of and service providers on the Internet.

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.  Any personal information submitted will only be used by our staff that are on a need-to-know basis and will be used only for the purposes for which the information submitted was intended.  Some administrative personnel of Behavioral Health Resources, LLC may in the course of their regular duties, have access to communications for technical or operational purposes.  Access to the data is assigned to specific individuals and is limited to authorized personnel only.  Appropriate levels of access are granted only to specific individuals with the degree of access determined by job function or necessity.  Access to sensitive data is revoked in a timely manner for employees who change job function or resign.  Data is protected from unauthorized disclosure.   This is accomplished through employee awareness and an employee requirement to sign an agreement to adhere to the company’s Privacy Policy.  In addition, the company contracted to provide website development, maintenance, and Internet services for Behavioral Health Resources, LLC has signed a Business Associates Agreement indicating adherence to this Privacy Policy.

Information Sharing.  Behavioral Health Resources, LLC is the sole owner of the information collected on this site.  We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement or the Confidentiality statement as posted on our website.  However, Behavioral Health Resources, LLC may disclose any communications to the full extent permitted or required by law.

Disclosure of Personal Identifiers.  We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our website.

Choice / Opt-Out.   Behavioral Health Resources, LLC will not use or share your personally identifiable information in ways unrelated to the ones described in this Privacy Policy without first letting you know and offering you a choice.  If you do not want to receive future communications from Behavioral Health Resources, LLC, please contact us at brenda@bhr-llc.com.

Correct / Update.  This site gives users options for changing and modifying information by completing on-line surveys posted on our website or by contacting us at  brenda@bhr-llc.com.
